The Air Line Pilots Association, International (ALPA) is a labor union for airline pilots that offers its members with financial analysis, in-depth knowledge of the Railway Labor Act, the legal experience to defend pilot contracts, and pension and insurance guarantees. The association represents more than 51,000 pilots at 30 U.S. and Canadian airlines. The association is chartered by the AFL-CIO and the Canadian Labour Congress.
