Founded in 1990 by Mark Lanier, The Lanier Law Firm is committed to addressing client concerns with effective and often untraditional solutions. Our diverse clients have one common trait: they need serious and sound legal representation, whether they are physically injured or involved in a business dispute. With offices in Houston, New York City, and Los Angeles, the firm is composed of outstanding attorneys with trial experience that includes high-profile cases involving pharmaceutical liability, business fraud, serious personal injuries, dangerous products, and toxic exposure. The firm was one of the first in the nation to pursue major claims involving mesothelioma, conducting extensive research that continues to support our decades of work in this area. Most recently, Mark Lanier served as lead trial counsel in securing a $650.6 million judgment against CVS, Walgreens and Walmart for their roles in failing to control the oversupply and diversion of deadly prescription opioids in two Ohio counties. Much of the evidence and production of documents in the case will support scores of other lawsuits that are pending in similar litigation across the nation. Each year Mr. Lanier hosts a Trial Academy attended by hundreds of attorneys to learn about his successful techniques, with proceeds from the event supporting a humanitarian organization in Latin America. Although significant legal victories are a trademark of The Lanier Law Firm, our primary focus remains, in the words of Mark Lanier, "to provide the highest quality legal care delivered in an honest, professional manner to enrich the lives or businesses of our clients."
