Currently, the company is involved in 5 research projects, especially in the field of additive manufacturing. SWMS was originally founded in 1996 by four students. Three of them, Jan Mohrmann, Ingo Schlalos and Lars Windels, have long since become graduate engineers - and are still managing partners with equal rights.
